To keep this one short, because I have a feeling I'm going to surpass the character limit, let's go with fighters (even the cheesy "me too" ones), side-scrollers and car combat games from the 90s, and Gauntlet.

I hit 618 characters and couldn't slim down (the already smaller version of) my list. So, I'll just leave it at this: I like just about anything directed by Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, Quentin Tarantino, and Takashi Miike, as well as some other things you should probably just ask me about.
